Summary
In early 20th century Greenwich Village, there are two women artists, Sue and Johnsy. As soon as they met, they got on like a house on fire and decided to share a studio apartment. One day Johnsy caught pneumonia and she was confined to bed. The lazy days started from that day. Her doctor says that he can't help her any more. Johnsy thought that she wii die when the all of tree's leaves has fallen off . At last there is only one leaf remain and Johnsy thought that she will die soon. But the leaf remain patiently and Johnsy get emboldened. Finally her pneumonia is cured.
Personal responce
The reason why I read this story is that this story is very famious in the world. I thought I should read this story once in a life.
